Why We Exist

Financial literacy shapes life outcomes, yet schools rarely teach it. Too many adults reach milestones—first job, first home, first child—without the foundational knowledge to make informed decisions. We founded this academy to change that pattern, one learner at a time.

Our belief is straightforward: understanding money should not be a privilege. Whether someone is eight years old learning to save pocket money or fifty years old preparing for retirement, everyone deserves access to clear, practical financial education.

Since opening our doors in Edinburgh, we have welcomed over a thousand participants through our programmes. Each cohort leaves with tangible skills and the confidence to apply them in daily life.

Our Principles

These values guide how we design courses, train instructors, and engage with every participant.

Accessibility First

We structure pricing and scheduling to accommodate varying budgets and commitments. No jargon-heavy lectures—concepts are explained in plain language that sticks.

Practical Application

Theory alone does not change behaviour. Every session includes exercises that participants complete using their own financial data, building habits alongside knowledge.

Lifelong Learning

Finances evolve with life stages. We design programmes that build on each other, encouraging participants to return as their circumstances—and questions—change.

Meet the Team

Our instructors combine professional finance backgrounds with genuine passion for teaching.

Our Approach to Teaching

We rejected the lecture-hall model from the start. Financial education works best when participants actively engage with material relevant to their own lives.

  • Classes capped at twelve participants for meaningful interaction
  • Real-world case studies replace abstract examples
  • Worksheets and calculators provided for personal financial planning
  • Open Q&A time built into every session
  • Follow-up support available after course completion
